Requirements for Scheduling and Undergoing a Lung Cancer Screening Examination

1. Referral from a physician authorized to refer patients for lung cancer screening.
   You can find authorized referring physicians at: https://asu.kvs-sachsen.de/arztsuche/
   → Specialty Criteria "Services Requiring Prior Authorization" → “Lung Cancer Screening – Referring Physicians with Proof of Eligibility pursuant to § 43 KF-RL”.                                                                                    

2. Report completed by the authorized referring physician as proof of eligibility:

3. Please send appointment requests by email to: lungenkrebsscreening@radiologie-dresden-radebeul.de.    

         Please include the following:

• Photo or scan of the referral. 
• Completed report as proof of eligibility from the referring physician (see item 2).
• Patient's callback number

     Alternatively, the documents may be submitted at any of the radiology practice locations.
